The Road to Tokyo 100k Challenge

The Road to Tokyo 100km Challenge is a virtual event for all runners which follows the ancient path through three prefectures of Japan from Mount Fuji to Tokyo. 

Tokyo, Japan’s busy capital, mixes the ultramodern and the traditional, from neon-lit skyscrapers to historic temples. We think it's a great place to start our 2023 virtual races. Why not run with Japanese music on or perhaps follow a podcast on Japanese history. 

Do you have what it takes to complete this Spring challenge? Use the event to keep yourself motivated as we head into the lighter months.

Beginning on 21st February 2023, you will use our route map and printable log book to track your distance all the way to completion. Once you have successfully submitted your results, you'll receive a bespoke, Japanese-themed medal, a digital certificate, and those who send in the best selfies will be awarded with prizes!
 

This challenge is perfect for runners who want to push themselves and have a goal to work towards; or for someone who is just starting out.

You can get stuck into the mileage a little every day if you wish, but don't let that stop you from completing the whole thing in as little attempts as you like!

How do I take part?
 
Simply enter the virtual event and NiceWork will send you a welcome email with details of how you submit your results. Over the race period, keep track of your kms using our logbook. Once complete, email the logbook to us along with your epic finishers selfie and we will feature you in the selfie gallery! 
 
If you don’t have an activity tracking device you can still take part, just email your finishing logbook to us and you will still get your medal.
