Event Description

Chocks away! Get ready for the Spitfire 10K and Spitfire Family Run!  We are bringing the racing day feeling to you in a new virtual experience.


Spitfire 10K technical t-shirts and running vests: 

Spitfire technical t-shirts (£10.00) and running vests (£12.00) can also be purchased when you book your Virtual Spitfire 10K. This year, if you sign up to take part, and purchase a t-shirt or vest, before 1 August, we will send them with your race pack before the event. If you enter the race after this date you will be sent a t-shirt with your medal. Participants living abroad will receive their t-shirt with their medal after the race

Fundraise for the RAF Museum and receive a free t-shirt! 

Help us honour those who defended our skies during the Battle of Britain by fundraising for the RAF Museum and pledging to raise £80 for the 80th anniversary and receive your race day t-shirt for free.   

The Spitfire 10K is a race organised by the RAF Museum charity. We therefore ask that all runners wishing to raise funds while running only do so for the RAF Museum, we thank you for respecting this.

Event Terms

These events are owned by the RAF Museum. When you confirm your purchase you are accepting the following terms and conditions:
- I take care at my own risk and will not hold the RAF Museum responsible for any injury, sickness or loss as a result of my taking part.
- I declare that I am medically fit at the date of this application and that I will not participate in the event unless I am medically fit to do so.
- I agree to the RAF Museum having the right to alter or amend any of the above information.
- I agree the RAF Museum and/or Nice Work may publish my name and running time on a virtual leader board as part of the results of the event
- No entries may be resold.
- I understand and accept that the RAF Museum and Nice work will send communications via email and post that are relevant to the event.
- I understand that race packs, merchandise and medals will be sent out to the address I registered with. The following deadlines are applicable:
o Enter before 14 August, to receive the race pack with Roll of Honour card before the race day.
o Order before 26 July, to receive merchandise before the race.
o Submit results by midnight on Monday 31 August to appear on the leader board.
o The medals will be sent after the challenge closes; dispatched within 7 days after the 15 September.
o These dates may vary for participants living abroad.
- The Spitfire 10K and the Spitfire Family run are virtual challenges / races organised by the RAF Museum as a registered charity. We therefore ask that all runners wishing to raise funds in conjunction with this event only do so for the RAF Museum.
