Join us for this brand new event for the Sussex racing calendar. The Golden Mile should appeal to sprinters of all ages, sizes and abilities. Test yourself against the best on this pancake flat, point to point, accurately measured 1 Mile course. The course is point to point - so no turnaround to contend with. And, if you've enough energy left, why not try your luck in the Eastbourne Golden 5K that follows this race? A fast and flat, out and back dash along the promenade that would suit runners of all standards including beginners.
There are plenty of prizes up for grabs, including cash prizes for the first three in the Senior Golden Mile – plus £150 cash prizes for teams from both Clubs and Schools in the Junior Golden Mile.

I accept that the organiser will not be liable for any loss, damage, action, claim, cost or expenses which may arise in the consequence of my participation in this race. I declare that I will not compete unless I am in good health on the day of the race and that in any event I will compete at my own risk. In the unlikely event of abandonment or cancellation, all or part of my entry fee may be retained for the management and administration of the event.
