Event Description

To commemorate the 75th anniversary of D-Day, we are challenging you to walk, run, jog, swim or bike 75K in 75 days. The Challenge will start from the 6 June, the day of the landings and you will have until the 20 August to complete it.

11,590 Allied aircraft, 23,400 airborne troops, 14,674 sorties flown by allied aircraft during the D-Day landings, so we are asking you to complete this challenge in memory of this remarkable logistical achievement. These numbers demonstrate the remarkable Allied effort of the D-Day landings, as well as the loss.

This commemorative challenge is virtual which means you can complete it anywhere in the world. Once you have signed up to complete the D-Day Challenge, we will send you a record sheet so you can keep track of your distances.

After you have completed the distance then you just submit your log and we will post you an exclusive D-Day Challenge medal. We will release images of the medal very soon.

There is no minimum age for this challenge – but we do recommend under 16’s are accompanied by an adult!

You will have until Tuesday 20 August to submit your distance log, and we will send all medals out in the following weeks.

We would love to hear from you during the challenge! Tag us in your pictures on Twitter and Instagram at #DDayChallenge

All medals will be sent to the one address, if you would like them sent to different addresses, please complete a separate entry for each participant.
