A coast to coast ride from Hull to Liverpool
Do you want to become a Randonneur.....?
Can you ride 176 miles (283km), 9,650ft ascent. 10 hours, Coast to Coast?
If so, come and join us for a charity bike ride to help raise much needed funds for MedEquip4kids who improve the health of babies, children and young people.
We are riding from Hull - Liverpool on 20th August starting at 6am (to be confirmed shortly).
Stand on the beach on the East coast, ride from as low as 7ft above sea level up to 1,422ft also including Englands longest ascent of 5.3 miles, Cragg Vale then stand on the beach on the West Coast the same day.
Make no mistake, this is a CHALLENGING RIDE with over 9,650ft of climbing and we invite cyclists regularly capable of 100+ miles with elevation at an average of 15-16mph.
There is a time limit of 12 hours though we hope to complete in 10-11 hours.
There is a minimum Fundraising £250 (each participant)
All fundraising goes direct to MedEquip4kids
Ride includes:
- Rest Stops
- A celebratory brunch on finish with shower facilities, and secure bike storage.
- Medals and certificates.
- Public Liability Insurance Cover.
We will be looking for experienced riders with navigation enabled GPS to lead one of the two groups of riders which will start 5 minutes apart.

Please enter me for the above event. I accept that the organiser will not be liable for any loss, damage, action, claim, cost or expenses which may arise in the consequence of my participation in or attendance to this event. I declare that I will not attend unless I am in good health on the day of the event and accept that I attend at my own risk. In the unlikely event of abandonment or cancellation, all or part of my entry fee may be retained for the management and administration of the event. No refunds or transfers allowed under any circumstances.
