DAPA Colour Splash

Blackburn Canal Festival

Start 10 am Manner Sutton Street
The Colour Splash, also known as the Happiest 5k on the Planet, is a unique colour run that celebrates healthiness, happiness, individuality, and giving back to the community. Less about your 10-minute-mile and more about having the time of your life, The event is a five-kilometre, un-timed run/walk in which participants of all ages are doused from head to toe in different colours. The fun continues at the finish line using more coloured powder to create happiness and lasting memories, not to mention millions of vivid colour combinations. With only two rules, the idea is easy to follow:
1. Wear white at the starting line
2. Finish plastered in colour
AS PART OF THE BLACKBURN CANAL SPLASH, A RUN WITH A DIFFERENCE. ON ENTRY TO THE RUN YOU GET A BAG OF COLOURED DYE IN YOUR PACK. AT POINTS WITHIN THE RUN WE SHALL BE WAITING TO COLOUR SPLASH YOU. BUY ONE OF OUR WHITE T- SHIRTS OR BRING YOUR OWN AS THIS WILL BE YOUR CANVAS FOR YOUR RUN/JOG/WALK ALONG THE LEEDS LIVERPOOL CANAL FOOT PATH FOR A GREAT FAMILY DAY OUT.
THIS IS NOT A RACE SO NO RESULTS WILL BE AT THE FINISH, ONLY COLOUR SPLASH AWAITS YOU.
CAMERAS ARE A MUST BUT TAKE PRECAUTIONS AS COLOUR SPLASH DYE WILL FILL THE AIR.
ALL AGES WELCOME AND UNDER 5`S GET COLOUR SPLASHED FOR FREE AND MUST BE ACCOMPANIED BY A PARENT/GUARDIAN .STRICTLY NO ANIMALS
OUR MADBULLEVENTS STALL ON MANNER SUTTON ST WILL BE WHERE THE REGISTRATION IS AND WHERE YOU COLLECT YOUR RUN PACK ON THE DAY AND ALSO FOR THE PURCHASE OF T SHIRTS ,DYE ,GLASSES WIGS , BANDANAS ETC.
CAR PARKING AT DAISYFIELD MILL BB1 3BL IS 10MIN WALK TO THE RUN START
