Thank you for supporting the 6TH WALFORD TIMBER LTD ROSSONWYE4ACORNS 10K; we look forward to seeing you on Sunday the 4th.
The event comprises of a 10k (main race), a 5k and Fun Run (Fun Run entries on the day only).
Your RUNNING NUMBER and your TIMING CHIP will be available for collection on the day, at least one hour before the start, and please bring safety pins.
FUN RUN registration is on the day only, at least half an hour before the start.
The whole of the 10K course is off-road but over mixed terrain, and depending on the weather it could be rutted or boggy. Your attention is drawn to a small brook which empties into the River Wye at the first water station and to cross it entails going down and up steps, which may be slippery. At Backney Bridge the ground is very stony. There are two water stations on the route.The Run starts and ends at the field behind the Rowing Club. The Fun Run course is totally within the Rowing Club field and has the same start and finish lines as the 10K.

PARTICIPANTS IN THE ROSONWYE4ACORNS 10K RUN MUST BE AGED 17 YEARS OR OVER ON THE DATE OF THE EVENT
ENTRY FEES ARE NOT TRANSFERABLE OR REFUNDABLE
ROSSONWYE4ACORNS RESERVES THE RIGHT TO CANCEL OR POSTPONE THE 10K RUN WHERE THIS BECOMES NECESSARY DUE TO CIRCUMSTANCES BEYOND ITS CONTROL
IF THE RUN IS CANCELLED AND RESCHEDULED AT A LATER DATE, ENTRIES WILL BE VALID FOR THE REVISED DATE
ONCE YOU HAVE REGISTERED YOU WILL RECEIVE AN EMAIL CONFIRMING YOUR REGISTRATION
PARTICIPANTS MUST FOLLOW THE INSTRUCTIONS FROM MEMBERS OF THE MARSHALLING TEAM AT ALL TIMES
THE CLOSING DATE FOR ENTRIES IS WEDNESDAY 3RD SEPTEMBER
ENTRANTS ACCEPT THAT THEY ENTER THE EVENT ENTIRELY AT THEIR OWN RISK AND THAT ROSSONWYE4ACORNS SHALL NOT ACCEPT ANY LIABILITY FOR INJURY OR LOSS THAT MIGHT OCCUR AS A RESULT OF PARTICIPATION IN THE EVENT. ENTRANTS MUST DECLARE THAT THEY ARE MEDICALLY FIT AND KNOW NO REASON WHY THEY MAY NOT TAKE PART IN THE RUN. ENTRANTS WILL CONSENT THAT PHOTOGRAPHS TAKEN DURING THE EVENT MAY BE USED TO PUBLICISE THE EVENT AND THE WORK OF THE CHARITY.
ENTRANTS WILL NEED TO COLLECT THEIR RUNNING NUMBER AND CHIP ON THE DAY, 1 HOUR BEFORE THE START OF THE RUN, AT STATIONS NOTED BY THE FIRST LETTER OF THEIR SURNAME.
