Get ready for an unforgettable Bank Holiday Monday as the Friends of Finnington take over the Hoghton Arms for a fantastic day of live music, dancing, and fun – all for a cause that truly matters.
We’re raising vital funds to support the Save Finnington Campaign – a grassroots movement formed by passionate local residents standing up to protect our beautiful West Pennine Moors from devastating development.

Why We’re Raising Funds
The Save Finnington Campaign was founded by residents from surrounding villages to protect our treasured Green Belt land on the fringes of the West Pennine Moors.
A proposed development threatens to destroy areas rich in heritage and wildlife. The shocking actions of the developer – including illegal destruction of a beloved reservoir, the removal of ancient stonework, and habitat loss for protected species – have sparked widespread outrage and concern.
This festival will raise essential funds to support legal representation and environmental advocacy, helping us stand firm against unlawful development and safeguard this land for generations to come.
