Event Description
Take part in the World Cancer Day Virtual Race and join a global community coming together through running, walking and movement to raise awareness and support the fight against cancer. Wherever you are in the world, whatever distance you choose, this is your chance to make every mile matter.
Held in support of World Cancer Day, this inclusive virtual challenge is open to all abilities, from beginners to seasoned runners.
By entering this virtual race, you are not only keeping up with your running goals, but you'll be spreading awareness, and The Running Bug will also donate 10% of all entry fees to Cancer Research UK.
How It Works
- Register for the World Cancer Day Charity Virtual Race
- Complete your challenge on 4th February with a run, walk or jog - treadmill, road, track or trail
- Log your run and send your evidence using our submission form
- Receive a stunning commemorative medal delivered straight to your door

Please enter me for this virtual challenge. I accept that the organiser will not be liable for any loss, damage, action, claim, cost or expenses which may arise in the consequence of my participation. I declare that I will not take part unless I am in good health and accept that I do so at my own risk. Once my entry is accepted, I understand that my entry fee is NOT REFUNDABLE under any circumstances - even if I do not or cannot complete the challenge. Throughout the challenge I will observe the current government guidelines in force with regards to social distancing and time restrictions on exercising outside of the home. Please note that we do not accept any entries from outside the UK. All medals will be posted within 7 days of the closure of this event by standard Royal Mail 2nd class delivery.
