The Troon 10K is back!
The race starts and finishes at the Walker Halls, South Beach, Troon KA10 6EF. Please arrive in good time, as the race will start promptly at 7:30pm.
We welcome entries from wheelchair athletes. Please indicate on your application form if you will be participating as a wheelchair athlete so we can make any necessary reasonable adjustments.
Race numbers and timing chips will be distributed on the night.
No entries on the night. Please note, we do not offer refunds or allow transfers for participants unable to attend.
T-shirts
T-shirts will be handed out with race numbers from 6pm on the night of the event. This will help to ensure everyone gets a T-shirt and has a better chance of receiving their requested size.
Parking
Parking at the Walker Halls is very limited. There is a public car park in Academy Street, 350 metres (five minute walk) from the Walker Halls, please use postcode K10 6HR (Costa Coffee Troon) for this car park location. If parking in the street, please ensure that you do not obstruct exits.
Toilets and Changing Facilities
Public toilets are available on the beach promenade near Walker Halls. Limited access to Walker Halls toilets will be provided, but there will be no changing facilities and no space for storing personal belongings. Showers are not available.
Course Hazards
Roads will be open to traffic. For your safety, please be aware of other road users and adhere to instructions from race marshals at road junctions.
Please be cautious of potholes, especially in Fullarton Woods and near Ottoline Drive.
Prizes
Prizes for the first three male and female finishers will be presented at the club gazebo after the race.
Additional category prizes include:
- Male: MV40, MV50, MV60, MV70
- Female: FV40, FV50, FV60, FV70
- Junior: Male (under 18), Female (under 18)
- Wheelchair athlete: Male, Female
Water
No water will be provided on the course. Please bring your own, especially if it’s a warm evening.

Please enter me for the above event. I accept that the organiser will not be liable for any loss, damage, action, claim, cost or expenses which may arise in the consequence of my participation in or attendance to this event. I declare that I will not attend unless I am in good health on the day of the event and accept that I attend at my own risk. In the unlikely event of abandonment or cancellation, all or part of my entry fee may be retained for the management and administration of the event. No refunds or transfers allowed under any circumstances.
Runners are not permitted to run with dogs. I understand and agree that the Organisers will share data and information with Ayrshire Harriers and SAL, including participant names, addresses and e-mail addresses.
