The Dalby Dash 10k 2026
Remembrance Sunday 8th November at 11.02am
In remembrance of our service men & women. A beautiful run on tarmac & hard trails, in association with Pickering Running Club.

Supporting Pickering Rotarians, Veterans Charity Rock2Recovery and Scarborough & Ryedale Mountain Rescue Team (SRMRT).
What a wonderful day we had at the 2025 Dalby Dash. YOU managed to raise £6,000 for our wonderful charities! The atmosphere was amazing and everyone was so positive. Our team of volunteers (including friends and marshals coordinated by Sharon Lynn) did us proud. Pickering Rotary were out in force and Scarborough & Ryedale Mountain Rescue Team (SRMRT) kept everyone safe. This is a friendly trail run with a fantastic memento for all finishers, run entirely by volunteers. Trail Running Magazine listed the Dalby Dash as one of the most beautiful races in Britain – who are we to argue?
The 2026 Dalby Dash represents great value and your time will once again be recorded electronically. ALL entry income goes towards organising the race and raising money for our charities – Pickering Rotarians (who donate their share to North Yorkshire charities), Veterans Charity Rock2Recovery, and SRMRT. Entry is £18 for EA club members and £20 for non-club runners (plus booking fees). We pay the entry toll into the forest for your car. Please bring family at no extra cost and spend the day in the forest! PLUS you receive a great memento at the finish.
The race starts outside the beautiful Visitor’s Centre and begins with a run up a firm tarmac road (Housedale) to the top of the only hill in the race (a steady slope!). First man and woman to the top receive a special prize. You then head along the top of the rigg on gravel trails, followed by a long, fast descent down to the beck, before a final ‘DASH’ to the finish line back at Low Dalby.
After you have entered: if you later find you are unable to take part, please note that we do not offer refunds or deferrals. However, you may transfer your place to a friend or running buddy via BookitZone. Transfer requests must be submitted by 11:00am on 30th October 2026.

First 5 men, first 5 women, first 2 veterans (in age categories up to 70+ years) for both sexes.
Plus first local man & woman (YO18 postcode), and the ‘King (& Queen) of the Hill’ prize for first runner to the top of House Dale.
Prizes will be posted once again, to ensure the safety of run
