DISTANCE & FORMAT:
Each race consists of 4 laps of the track - a total of 3000m per race
In total, 120 athletes will race (60 x male and 60 x female athletes).
HEATS: 5 races x 12 athletes (60 x athletes in total)
The first 4 x athletes from each heat automatically qualify for the next round + the 4 x fastest losers
SEMI-FINALS: 2 races x 12 athletes (24 x athletes in total)
The first 5 athletes from each semi-final automatically qualify for the final + the 2 x fastest losers
FINAL: 1 race x 12 athletes

In both male & female events:
1ST PLACE: £1000
2ND PLACE: £500
3RD PLACE: £300
4TH PLACE: £200
5TH PLACE: £100
6TH PLACE: £50

Please enter me for the above event. I accept that the organiser will not be liable for any loss, damage, action, claim, cost or expenses which may arise in the consequence of my participation in or attendance to this event. I declare that I will not attend unless I am in good health on the day of the event and accept that I attend at my own risk. In the unlikely event of abandonment or cancellation, all or part of my entry fee may be retained for the management and administration of the event. No refunds or transfers allowed under any circumstances. I accept that the organiser reserves the right to omit entries for those not capable of achieving the event time. PLEASE BE ADVISED THAT THIS RACE IS NON-REFUNDABLE UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES.
