The Annual LHC Boots Run is a fundraising, all ability friendly run to raise money for the Dougie Mac charity in memory of our team mate and friend Jackie (Boots) Machin.
It is a multi terrain run, taking in the Leek to Rudyard track and the local beauty spot of Rudyard Lake.
The start and finish will be just a short walk from our clubhouse where you can park and use the facilities and will be welcomed back after where refreshments will be served and everyone is welcome.
The 5km will be a nice and easy out and back route and the full 9 mile event will head off towards Rushton and then out and around Rudyard Lake.
The majority of the run will be good tracks and trails and will be clearly marked/marshalled. There will be a 2km distance at the club available to enter on the day and all participants will receive a goody bag at the finish.
