The Lake Vyrnwy Half Marathon
8th September 2019 at 1.00pm
The Lake Vyrnwy Half Marathon is an old fashioned kind of event, and these days quite unique. It does not have a major sponsor but is organised by real people giving of their own time for the benefit of their own community.
Please do not expect a Great North Run or similar style commercial event. If you can understand the homemade-ness of this event you will have a fantastic time!
Prizes: Winners £400 Male & Female, Second £300 Male & Female, Third £200 Male & Female Plus: 4th to 10th: Cash prizes for Male & Female and prizes to all age groups Also: £100 to course record breakers
This is a no iPod/mp3/personal stereo road race.
Chip Timed
Medal and Tshirt to all finishers.
Race numbers will be posted out to you shortly after 24 August 2019. Those entering after this date should collect their numbers on the day.
Charity Donation
The Charity you have an option to support is the Community Centre which houses our race's Race HQ. It is in serious need of repair and modernisation and if you have chosen to contribute, we are all extremely grateful.
This year we have modernised some of the toilet facilities.
The donations connected from this year's race will go towards roof repairs.

Please enter me for the above event. I accept that the organisers will not be liable for any loss, damage, action, claim, cost or expenses which may arise in the consequence of my participation in or attendance at this event. I declare that I will not attend unless I am in good health on the day of the event and accept that I run at my own risk. In the unlikely event of abandonment or cancellation, all or part of my entry fee may be retained for the management and administration of the event. Once accepted entry fees are not refundable but we are accepting transfers up until August 24th, 2019. I accept that this is a no iPod/mp3/personal stereo road race.
