Parallel Success Competition (IPC approved) in the Leics & Rutland & Warwickshire County Track & Field Championships

Event Description

 

Leicestershire/Rutland AA and Warwickshire County AA present their Two Counties Athletics Championships at the Pingles Stadium, Nuneaton on Saturday May 23rd and Sunday May 24th 2015

 

The Championships are supported by

 

Disability athletics events have been promoted and included in our Championships for a number of years, but this is the fourth year that the County Championships have been recognised by UKA as part of the Parallel Success series. Athletes with a UKA / INAS / BBS Classification can enter the Open competition irrespective of where they live or were born. Results from the event will be eligible for the Power of 10 and, where appropriate, IPC Rankings, including Paralympic Games qualification. Athletes who qualify for either Leicestershire & Rutland or Warwickshire will automatically be included in their County Championships as well.

 

Event Terms

It is a condition of entry that you read the PS event prospectus on your County web site and accept the conditions in it. You can also download the Prospectus from this website. (You can also download a paper entry form from this website.)
The Championships are held under UKA Rules, IPC Rules and the Rules of the local County Athletics Associations.

In the unlikely event that the Championships are cancelled we will refund your entry fees less a 20% deduction to cover unavoidable costs.

Note that the timetable published on the County websites at present is a draft and subject to change. Please check the web site in the week before the championships to see a more detailed version.
