Q. can I run with my dog?

A. we are sorry but no dogs are allowed to accompany runners on the LGBT5k course. This is because the run is licensed and insured via UK Athletics and their races/events current guidance and public liability insurance policy states that 'Runners must not be accompanied by a personally owned or controlled dog'.
Dogs are allowed on the Town Moor and in Exhibition Park (just not on the LGBT5k marked course) so your dog could come and spectate with a partner/friend instead.
Please ensure all dogs attending with spectators are kept on a lead and not allowed to wander onto the course whilst runners are present.
Please clean up after your dog and leave the Town Moor clean for all to enjoy.
