Frequently Asked Questions:

Q. What distances are the event?

A. The swim is 400m in a 4 lane indoor pool
The bike is an out and back 21k route on quiet country roads
The run is a scenic 5k

Q. In previous years the event has only been open to members of the NHS and Bolton Council. Has this changed for this year?

A. For 2019 we are opening the event to anyone. We will still offer category prizes to both individual and teams who are NHS staff.

Q. Why do we have to pay for the event T shirt this year

A. In order to keep the entry cost down we are offering competitors the choice if they wish to purchase an event t shirt. Feedback from previous competitors has told us that some people would prefer lower entry costs rather than have yet another race T-shirt
