North Staffs Mind present our new Fun day!
Fun 2 Run is a combined mini Fun Run and family fun day! A FUN-draiser for North Staffs Mind.
Fun 2 Run is a fundraiser to highlight the need for positive mental wellbeing and put a spotlight on mental health issues.
At Keele University, we’ll be holding a fun day for all the family. Come by, enjoy the sun, grab some local food, play some games and support the runners! It’s free to stop by the fun day, but donations are greatly appreciated.
We will also have a 2km fun run as well! Everyone can take part in it, and yes, we encourage costumes, bright and bold clothing. We’ll be holding a competition for the brightest and most colourful outfit, so have a look through the wardrobe! Adult Entry is £10, Under 16’s £5 and Under 5’s Free! If you want to go a step further, you can get sponsored and raise even more donations! North Staffs mind is an independent charity; so, all donations are vital to our fight for better mental health in Staffordshire.
North Staffs Mind is Staffordshire’s Mental Health Charity. Starting in 1976, we worked hard to connect, support and change minds. Our goal is to bring together people and services to make a real improvement in Staffordshire’s mental wellbeing, offer help whenever and wherever needed, and work to bring current policies up to standard.
Last year, we supported over 10,000 children, young people, and adults throughout Staffordshire through our services and projects including support groups, The Maccas Project, Speak Up Space, adult housing support, outreach in schools and mental health training and our instant messaging service. And we’re working hard to support another 10,000 this year!
Our first major Fundraising Event of the year is Fun 2 Run! So come along, have some fun, see what we do and help us highlight the need for positive mental well-being and put a spotlight on mental health issues.
