September Saunter 20 September 2025 - 09.00am
Come and join us for a friendly and sociable walk in Wensleydale in aid of charities. There is a choice of two circular walks, one of 13.6 miles, and one 5.7 miles. Both start and finish in Leyburn. We hope the 5.7 mile route will encourage family participation and so for the short route only, children (under 16) will be free when entered with an accompanying adult.
There are liquid refreshments at various checkpoints.. All walkers receive Sandwiches and Cake at the finish in Wensleydale School to 4pm . Showers are also available. The routes are well sign-posted and marshalled, so no one is likely to get lost!
The walks begin at 9.00am in Grove Square, though walkers first gather for registration at Wensleydale School, where car-parking is available. The walk is limited to a maximum 7 hours. All entries should be received prior to the event. Entries on the day may be allowed, entirely at the discretion of the event organiser, so please make every effort to register beforehand.
All finishers will receive a certificate.
