Join us for the Wallings Ice Cream Thumbs Up For Charlie Run Event on 3rd September 2026 at 6:00pm for an evening of fun, wellbeing, and community spirit – all while supporting a fantastic cause.
This special event is being held in support of Thumbs Up For Charlie, helping to raise awareness and funds to support families affected by paediatric brain tumours.
The route and distance are currently being finalised, but one thing is certain – this event is all about coming together, getting active, and making a difference.
Medal and FREE ice cream to all finishers!
Whether you’re an experienced runner, casual jogger, walker, or simply looking to support a great local charity, everyone is welcome to take part.
What to expect:

This event is proud to support Thumbs Up For Charlie, a wonderful charity created in memory of Charlie, a brave 5-year-old boy who heroically battled an ependymoma brain tumour for three years.
The charity helps support families affected by childhood brain tumours by providing respite breaks, giving them precious opportunities to create special memories, spend valuable time together, or simply take time to reflect during incredibly difficult circumstances.
If you would like to support this amazing cause, you can make a voluntary donation as part of your entry.
