Entries will be available on the day - a £2 surcharge will apply and will not be eligible for prizes. Registration will open at 07:45, please ensure you arrive early to avoid disappointment!
It's back!
After a break of seven years and to celebrate the clubs 30th Anniversary, Ackworth Road Runners are proud to announce the return of the Ackworth Half Marathon in 2015!
With a new venue and new course, the race is sure to be as popular as ever!
- Chip Timing with results on the day!
- Race memento and goody bag for all finishers
- Water stations
- Cash prizes for first 3 Men, Ladies & Vets categories (according to entries)
- Spot prizes courtesy of The Club at Burntwood Court
The new course will continue to take in the surrounding villages of Wentbridge, Darrington and East Hardwick, ensuring the much loved undulating challenge of the old race will there for all to enjoy. Taking place on the 12th April, the race will provide the perfect opportunity for some race practice and extra mileage for those training for the London Marathon.
Race HQ, Parking, Registration and Prize Giving will this year take place from The Water Tower on Pontefract Road, Ackworth (Post Code for Sat Nav WF7 7ET)

UKA Race License Number 2015-14007.
All race numbers and chips must be collected on the day of the event.
Please note that there will be a 3 hour time limit to complete the race. The use of headphones and MP3 players during the race is also strictly prohibited.
Event Terms
Please enter me in to the above event. I declare that I am an amateur according to UKA rules and I will be 17 years or older on 12 April 2015. I am medically fit to run and I understand that I enter at my own risk and that the organisers will in no way be responsible for any injury incurred by me as a result of the race or any damage to or loss of property.
In the unlikely event of abandonment or cancellation, all or part of my entry fee may be retained for the management and administration of the event.
