Event Description
This is a 5 mile single lap measured road route on country lanes. The route has a few testing climbs (880ft/268m), with the last mile being flat, therefore this is not a PB course. The route is suitable for most people, but unfortunately NOT for wheelchairs.
The wearing of earphones or similar devices are NOT Permitted at this race under UKA rules and for your safety as the roads will not be closed to traffic. Bone conduction earphones are permitted.
Anybody wearing Earphones or similar devices will be disqualified.
This year we will be using the Paper Mill Inn at Whitehough as Race HQ. Course record prizes are available for anyone beating last year's times (Men - 27.21, Women - 30.39). £50 cash prize available to each.
All numbers will be issued on the night from 6.15pm
As part of the clubs commitment to reducing climate change we will offer a £2 FREE BEER VOUCHER for individuals who travel to the race using public transport, or who walk, cycle or run to the start.
We will reward car shares where there are 4 or more people in the car with a £10 voucher for the cars occupants to spend in the pub that evening.

Please enter me for the above event. I accept that the organiser will not be liable for any loss, damage, action, claim, cost or expenses which may arise in the consequence of my participation in or attendance to this event. I declare that I will not attend unless I am in good health on the day of the event and accept that I attend at my own risk. In the unlikely event of abandonment or cancellation, all or part of my entry fee may be retained for the management and administration of the event. No refunds or transfers allowed under any circumstances.
