The race follows a scenic course in the Arnside and Silverdale Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty with views over Morecambe Bay and the Kent Estuary Course Map
Organised by Dallam Running Club under FRA rules
Supported by Holgates Caravan Parks
and TheRunnersCentre Lancaster
who will have a selection of SALE SHOES at the race -Scott Kinabulu, Inov-8 Mudclaws,Roclites, Brooks Calderia - and are also sponsoring the race numbers and junior prizes
Senior Race at 12:15 - distance 6 miles with 1093 feet ascent - for runners age 16 and over on the day
Please note that the 175 limit is likely to be reached well before race day so pre-enter early to guarantee a place - £7 including handling charge
Closing date for entries is 15th November - collect number on race day - registration closes at 11:50 am
If there are any spare places available on the day these will be allocated on a first come first served basis

Qualifying U18 runners who have entered the senior race online must also bring a completed FRA Entry Form signed by their parent or guardian to demonstrate their approval
While we're hoping for a sunny Autumn day who knows what the weather will be like in late November! So bring appropriate clothing including a waterproof top,leggings, warm hat and gloves and be prepared to carry them if instructed to do so by the organiser
Also Junior races from 11.15 am for ages between 6 and under 16 of varying distances depending on age group – entry £1 on day only - kit requirements as for seniors above
Senior prizes for first 3 men and first 3 women at the finish line and possibly some spot prizes – separate junior prize giving – money from refreshments stall and part of the race fee goes to Air Ambulance and Fix the Fells
Overnight accommodation options for those of you travelling from further afield include Holgates main site for tents ,pods and touring vans and the excellent Arnside Independent Hostel
Event Terms
I accept the hazards inherent in fell running and acknowledge that I am entering and running this race at my own risk.
I confirm that I am aware of the rules imposed on me by the Race Organiser and that I will comply with them.
I confirm that I have read and will comply with, the “Fell Running Requirements for Runners”.
I acknowledge and agree that I am responsible for determining whether I have the skills equipment and fitness to participate in this event.
I accept that neither the Race Organiser nor the Fell Runners Association shall be liable to me for any injury, loss or damage of any nature to me or my property arising out of my participation in this race (other than in respect of death or personal injury as a result of their negligence).
In the unlikely event of abandonment or cancellation, I agree that my entry fee may be kept by Dallam Running Club ,with part then going to our supported charities and the remainder retained for the management and administration of the club's future events.
