It's our inaugural uphill time trial!
This is a pure test of runner vs hill. Runners will be set off at timed intervals and simply have to get to the top as quickly as possible.
This is a 2.2km climb with 241m of glorious elevation gain. The surface is primarily gravel, with some flagstones and a steep, rocky clamber to the finish.
SI cards will be used for timing and all participants must be return with their SI card to registration where times will be logged. The results will be published and emailed to all participants within 24 hours.
Parking: Parking is available at Trentabank car park or there is plenty of street parking alongside the reservoir.
Bags: This is a small, low-key event and we don't have a designated bag drop. Maybe bring a friend to cheer you on and be a bag mule or just carry your bag like a hill running hero.
Registration: Please register 10-15 minutes before you designated start time.
Kit: It's an evening in April, the weather could be doing absolutely anything and the summit of Shutlingsloe is exposed. The Race Director will make a call on kit on the day but please be prepared to carry a hat, gloves and a waterproof jacket as a minimum.
Prizes: We reward participation and there will be spot prizes available which any finisher has a chance of bagging. We'll give some public kudos to our fastest male and female finishers (and anyone else who we think deserves it) on our social media channels when the results are published.

Please enter me for the above event. I accept that the organiser will not be liable for any loss, damage, action, claim, cost or expenses which may arise in the consequence of my participation in or attendance to this event. I declare that I will not attend unless I am in good health on the day of the event and accept that I attend at my own risk.
In the unlikely event of abandonment or cancellation, all or part of my entry fee may be retained for the management and administration of the event. No refunds or transfers allowed under any circumstances.
I agree to carry the recommended kit and to return my SI card to registration. I understand that I will be charged a fee if I do not return my SI card.
