FAQ The 2016 Over the Odda 10k – Event ID# 4101

Q. Is this race for me?

A. A challenging course, this approximately 10km race is run mainly through woodland, along farm tracks and over fields. There are both steep climbs and descents within the race. You will be rewarded with stunning views!

Q. Can I run the route before race day?

A. The route is run mainly on public footpaths. There are some sections however, that leave the public footpaths and cross private farmland. This is allowed with kind permission of the landowners on race day only. Please do not jeopardise the future of the race by running these sections before the race. You will find the Garmin routes on the Facebook page.

Q. Is there somewhere safe to leave my belongings?

A. There will be a baggage storage area within the school. Items left are done so at your own risk.

Q. Where shall I park?

A. Parking is very limited within the village. There will be marshals on hand to direct you to suitable spaces. Please all park on the same side of the road as the school and do not block any residents driveways. It would be appreciated if you could car share where possible.

Q. What refreshments will be on offer?

A. Hot pulled pork sandwiches, tea, coffee, cold drinks as well as a selection of home baked goodies by the Hawksworth Mums will be on sale!

Q. Are there toilet facilities?

A. Yes. Please allow plenty of time in case a queue forms!!

Q. Will there be photos of the event?

A. Yes! Photos will be added to the Facebook page and will be free of charge to copy. If there are any photos that you would like removing of yourself, please just ask.
