Race 4 of a 4 race series.

Enter individually or enter the series at a discounted rate.

The races are:

Race 1 Thursday May 26th - Dunham Massey 5k               
Race 2 Thursday June 9th - Robert Mcharry Memorial Birchwood Park 5k
Race 3 Thursday June 16th - Dave Telford Memorial Dunham Massey 5k                         
Race 4 Thursday June 23rd - Birchwood Brook 5k   

 

The 5k race is run under UK Athletics Rules, UKA Race Licence (Applied for).  The minimum age for runners is 12 years old on race day.

Race HQ will be at the Birchwood Community High School. 

We are unable to offer facilities to store bags or valuables.

Car parking
Please do not park in the following:

• Near the race start on Birchwood Boulevard.
• In the High School car park or the library car park.
• On any local roads or pavements.  The road going past the School is a bus route and must be kept clear. 

Parking will be at the Birchwood Shopping Centre car park 1 (adjacent to The Peacock pub) and car park 2 (adjacent to ALDI supermarket & McDonalds).

Please park only in marked spaces in either of these car parks.

Race Route
The start & finish are about 500m from Race HQ.  You pass the ASDA petrol station on your way to & from the start & finish. 

The race is a single lap course. The finish is in Oakwood Gate Park, near to the Lowes Farm pedestrian subway under the A574 Birchwood Way.

The race route is an accurately measured 5k.

Refund policy
Entry fees are not refundable in the unlikely event of cancellation in exceptional circumstances (e.g. weather).

If you have entered the race and are unable to run for whatever reason, like most races we are unable to offer refunds.  Also, we are not able to defer your race entry to the following year.

However we do allow you to transfer your race entry to another runner (by contacting the organiser not BookitZone)

Transfer Of Race Entries

We will accept changes on the day at Race HQ.  If you want to do this, please arrive early!

We will not charge a transfer fee to do this unless we incur a cost. We want to see the right names against the runners in the results.

Results
Race results are usually available to view at Race HQ after the prize presentation.

Prizes
We offer prizes to the first three finishers as well as to veteran categories and the men's and women's teams.  Under normal circumstances, we aim to have the prize presentation after the race, so long as there are no major problems in producing the race results.
