Our very own events directory Kerry, sadly lost her father to a brain tumour in 2017.
For the previous two years, Kerry has chosen a month where she dons her trainers and runs or walks 5k a day every day for a month.
The idea behind the challenge is to support and remember those that have survived or sadly lost their lives to cancer, the family and friends that live through the pain and heatache of watching a loved one live through this awful illness.
The challenge is mainly to raise awareness for the illness and for everyone that it impacts.
"If people can wake up everyday and face this illness head on, I can make the effort to run/walk 5a day" says Kerry.
This year we have decided to support Kerry and launch as a Virtual run with the proceeds going to Brain Tumour Research, a charity we are supporting this year.
