The 2017 HW Moon Toyota Wigan 5K and Half Marathon

5k at 10.30am - Half Marathon at 09.30am
The Wigan10k organisers are pleased to announce the #runwiganfestival that will incorporate the Wigan5K and Wigan Half Marathon.
The Wigan5k is a UK Affiliated race.
All runners will be allocated a race number and individual timing chip. We will start sending out race packs and numbers from Febuary 2017. You will receive an email from us informing you when to expect these, or when they are available for collection. Please follow us on Facebook or Twitter too, to keep up to date with any event news.
The event's chosen charity is Joining Jack, which is one of Wigan 5k's Supporting Partners.

Race Length: 5 Kilometres or 3.1 Miles
Age Range: 11 years upwards
Start: Market Street, Wigan Town Centre, Wigan, WN1
Finish: Market Street, Wigan Town Centre, Wigan, WN1
Timing: Chip Timed based on actual runners start and finish time
Maximum Race Capacity: 2500
Deadline Date for Entries: 16/03/2017
Finishers Bag: Medal & water for all finishers

Race Information Centre: Located in town centre, Wigan, WN1
Car Parking: A car park in the town centre has been designated for runners participating in the Wigan 5K.
Lockers: A designated number of lockers will be allocated at The Wigan Life Centre on a first come first served basis.
Toilets: Will be available to use at The Wigan Life Centre. Portable toilets will be located off Market Street.
Showers: Will be available to use at The Wigan Life Centre (these are communal, so please bring swimwear if you wish to use them)
The Bridgeman Centre are offering the following services on race day:
Massage tables pre and post race available to all entrants
Strapping & Taping for entrants -
Ice Baths Post race
First Aid Cover

Please enter me for the above event. I accept that the organiser will not be liable for any loss, damage, action, claim, cost or expenses which may arise in the consequence of my participation in or attendance to this event. I declare that I will not attend unless I am in good health on the day of the event and accept that I attend at my own risk. In the unlikely event of abandonment or cancellation, all or part of my entry fee may be retained for the management and administration of the event.
