Event Description

The Wigan Trail 10k will be held on Sunday 18th May 2025

from Springview Sports & Community Club, Wigan on the Amberswood Nature Reserve.

FREE PIE & PEAS FOR ALL PRE-ENTRIES!

& another especially designed medal!

The race takes place through the trails of Wigan's beautiful Greenheart Amberswood Park, situated between Spring View & Hindley. This former mining area has been transformed into a beautiful 160 hectare nature reserve.

The 10k Trail Race takes in many of the scenic bridleways of Amberswood, following a mixture of terrain from grass trails to wide open gravel paths. The route is flat and open giving competitors the opportunity to challenge and beat personal bests. There will be friendly marshalls dotted around the course to help and support you all.

Prizes for 1st, 2nd, 3rd Male & Female and 1st in each 5 year Vet category - please stay for the prize giving as we won't be posting prizes. Sit back, relax and enjoy your pie!

There will be additional prizes for clubs or groups with an entry of 12 or more runners.

Completely off-road on bridle paths and woodland trails.

Free race photographs available for download.

Free Changing Facilities & toilets.

Marshalled and professionally timed event.

Please car share if possible.
