The Pendle Running Festival - Orienteering Score Event (Beginners and Open)
16th July 2017 | 11.30am-12.30pm
(Registration open from 11.00 to 12.00)
Course closes at 14.30pm
Registration at Barley Village Hall, Cross Lane, Barley, Burnley, BB12 9JU
- Two Events: Beginners and Open
- £9 (£7 BOF members £5 Juniors) - both events
- Open Event: 90 minutes trail Score with age restrictions:
Under age 14 – not permitted
Ages 14 & 15 must run with a parent or adult over age 21.
Ages 16 & 17 may run as 16/17 pairs or older
Age 18+ may run individually
- Beginners Event: 60 minutes, suitable for all.
Children under 14 must be accompanied by an adult
Ages 14 -15 must run as pairs
Age 16 may run individually
Registration times are 30 minutes ahead of start times.
Registration 11:00 to 12:00
Start times: 11:30 to 12:30
Courses close at 14:30
One of five races taking place across a weekend of running & activities in stunning Pendle.
Orienteering suitable for any level.
Registration at Barley Village Hall, Cross Lane, Barley, Burnley, BB12 9JU from 08:15
NB Start location is 5 minutes walk from registration.

A weekend of racing and activities in beautiful Pendle this summer. Bring the whole family, there is plenty to keep the young ones happy. Chose between a 4 mile, a 10k or a half marathon on partially closed roads on Saturday 15th July: challenging, hilly routes but well worth the pain for the stunning scenery! A trail race and orienteering score event on the Sunday for the off-road enthusiasts!
