Event Information

The Half Marathon and 10K are back for 2026. We have listened to the feedback and are pleased to say that we have now had both courses officially measured. The courses remain basically the same with a couple of tweaks here and there, but pretty much the same...... there will of course be HILLS ................. it wouldn't be Roberttown without them.

Held under UK Athletics Rules. UKA Licence - #30048_1

Organised by Roberttown Road Runners, the race is a favourite amongst the running community and famed for its challenging hilly course.

The courses have now been officially measured, 

Race HQ and male/female changing is at Roberttown Community Centre, Church Road, Liversedge WF15 7LS.

The race is chip timed and starts and finishes at the Commonside, which is a 3-minute walk from the Race HQ.  The Commonside is closed to traffic before and after the race. 

The course is mile marked and water stations are available. 

This year the memento will be a 'Slate based type medal', or 'Birch wood type medal', with the option to purchase a T-Shirt for additional cost.

Qualified first aid assistance will be in attendance as well as a rapid response vehicle.

Car parking within the village is available for competitors although it is quite restricted and as such we would ask you to car share where possible.

 Due to the nature of the course sorry but no wheelchairs allowed.

Race approved: Bone conduction sports headphones are the only headphones that are approved for use in all road races under the UK Athletics Rules of Competition. The Rules are clear that “in ear” headphones cannot be used in events where roads are open to traffic. Using bone conduction technology and open-ear design, Shokz headphones is able to deliver stereophonic sound through your cheekbones to your inner ear. Potentially preventing accidents caused by traditional headphones and earbuds that block out sounds, runners can enjoy their music and still hear everything around them – including traffic, emergency vehicles and other warning noises.

All race numbers (together with any Tshirt(s) purchased) are to be collected on the day, from 8.00am. 

Entry Limit is 440 Half , 220 10K - there are NO entries on the day.

Prizes will be awarded to the 1^st Male & 1^st Female affiliated Team (3 to count). 

The presentation will take place in the Community Centre at approximately 12 noon.

Race Mementos

Slate based, or Birch wood based medals - to be confirmed.

NOTE: Option to purchase a T-shirt. Owing to delivery constraints, if you require a T-shirt, you must register no later than the 31st January 2026 @18.00pm. After this the option to buy a Tshirt with your entry will be removed and no longer available.
