We're excited to announce a fantastic addition to the Liversedge Half Marathon – the Roberttown 10K! This new 10K race offers an ideal challenge for runners looking to experience the scenic, rolling hills of Liversedge over a slightly shorter distance. With the same friendly atmosphere and community spirit that the half marathon is known for, the Roberttown 10K promises an enjoyable and rewarding run for participants of all levels. Whether you're testing your speed or just enjoying the journey, this 10K is a brilliant way to join in on race day and make unforgettable memories.

Held under UK Athletics Rules. UKA Licence - #28608

Organised by Roberttown Road Runners, the race is a favourite amongst the running community and famed for its challenging hilly course.

The courses have not been officially measured, but the Half comes in at 13.06 Mies and the 10K is 6.20 Miles (9.971 Km).

Race HQ and male/female changing is at Roberttown Community Centre, Church Road, Liversedge WF15 7LS.

The race is chip timed and starts and finishes at the Commonside, which is a 3-minute walk from the Race HQ.  The Commonside is closed to traffic before and after the race. 

The course is mile marked and water stations are available. 

This year the memento will be a 'Slate based type medal', or 'Birch wood type medal', with the option to purchase a T-Shirt for additional cost.

Qualified first aid assistance will be in attendance as well as a rapid response vehicle.

Car parking within the village is available for competitors although it is quite restricted and as such we would ask you to car share where possible.

 Due to the nature of the course sorry but no wheelchairs allowed.

Race approved: Bone conduction sports headphones are the only headphones that are approved for use in all road races under the UK Athletics Rules of Competition. The Rules are clear that “in ear” headphones cannot be used in events where roads are open to traffic. Using bone conduction technology and open-ear design, Shokz headphones is able to deliver stereophonic sound through your cheekbones to your inner ear. Potentially preventing accidents caused by traditional headphones and earbuds that block out sounds, runners can enjoy their music and still hear everything around them – including traffic, emergency vehicles and other warning noises.

All race numbers are to be collected on the day, from 8.00am. 

Entry Limit is 440 Half , 220 10K - there are NO entries on the day.

Prizes will be awarded to the 1^st Male & 1^st Female affiliated Team (3 to count). 

The presentation will take place in the Community Centre at approximately 12 noon.

Race Mementos

Slate based, or Birch wood based medals - to be confirmed.

Option to purchase a T-shirt, owing to delivery constraints, if you require a T-shirt, you must register no later than the 31st January 18.00pm.
