SSIC will be open from 7:30am until 8:45am and from 14:30 onwards each day located in Race HQ, This service is open to all Entries
(5 day and single day runners)
however you must book in advance due to limited time slots although you don't have to pay until you have your treatment.

Important Information
All runners must register each day at Race HQ from 7:00am until 8:45am (there is a pre-race brief and registration for all 5 in 5 runners at 18:30 pm at race HQ on Tuesday 8th November, it is advisory but not essential you attend) remember the feed station kit vehicle leaves at 8:45am each morning! 5 day challenge runners must also register by signing in each day at Race HQ . Race HQ will be stocked with hot snacks/tea/coffee/energy foods/biscuits and electrolyte drink which is include in your entry fee. Inside Race HQ will be containers labelled with your race number for your own drinks/day kit/bags to be put in that you will require for the lap part of the course and can be accessed every 4.15 miles (Vehicle leaves Race HQ at 8:45am so please ensure you have put your stuff in before this time as the vehicle will not wait). Please label your drinks and bags etc. so they can be easily identified from other participants . Head torches must be worn on the course from 3pm onwards so it is advised that these are also placed in the vehicle labelled up. In addition a water/feed station will be available every 2 miles stocked with bottled water/High5 energy gels/electrolyte and other nutritional goods for all runners. Please take into consideration that the van will not leave the course until the last runner finishes (possible 9 hours) so it is advised if you require belonging that have been placed in the van before this time you will need to pick them up at the end of your 6th lap or drive back down to the feed station van later. Runners can park at the public and free car park on the lap route at Lower House Car Park (0.65 miles from the start/finish line) and go off the course each lap to your car if required although you obviously will have to walk to the start/finish line from here (Car Park Closes at 7pm).If you drop out please leave you're chip at a feed station do not take it home with you.
All runners when crossing the finish line each day will receive that days medal and any prize due, on completing all 5 days runners will in addition be presented an award at the after race Party at Race HQ on the Sunday (approx 17:30pm) along with having there name placed on the Hell of a Hill hall of Fame, we also have drinks and entertainment around 5pm on the Sunday so please all stay and enjoy!

Weather Warning
The weather in November and on the hill can be unforgiving, although the extreme weather is part of the challenge we have to consider runners safety at all times. In previous years it has been common to see strong winds, snow, floods and extreme cold weather. If the event needs to be cancelled due to bad weather or any other reason then all entries will automatically go into the next staging of the event. Please bring suitable clothing and footwear for what the conditions are likely to be and keep checking the forecast days before the event (weather reports are updated daily at Race HQ along with latest Results).
We have a shop at Race HQ if you need any footwear/running kit during the event
(Footwear can be ordered normally and delivered by them next morning).
Please remember from 3pm each day of the marathon it is mandatory to have a head torch!!
Bring some spare warm dry clothes in a bag to change into (the bag can be left at race HQ/at the water station, please don’t forget to label all bags/clothing and nutrition)
The Hill can be extremely windy and cold, please dress sensibly as the conditions can be extreme at this time of year and change within minutes (in 2014 we had 70mph winds on the top of the Pike).

Lap Tick System
You will be ticked off each lap as you pass the main feeder.
Toilets & Changing
Toilets will be situated near the Start/Finish line at Race HQ along with Changing Facilities and Hot Showers,
there is also a bag drop facility at Race HQ.

All Finishers each day receive a Bespoke Medal.
5 in 5 Male & Female Winner £50 Cash + £50 Voucher
Single Day Male/Female Winner Each Day £25 Voucher (First Person to cross the line)
On completion of the full 5 day endurance challenge each and every finisher will be presented with an award
in recognition of their massive achievement and be entered into the Hell of a Hill Hall of Fame.
The Prize giving and after Party for 5 day runners is at 17:00 pm at Race HQ
(or when all runners have finished) where each runner as photos and gets the 5 in 5 awards (Everyone Welcome).
We also have a small after party show on the Sunday with drinks/Entertainment.

Race HQ is located near the Start/Finish line with toilets/changing facilities/Showers and a heated Marquee shelter.
Race HQ has free hot snacks, food and tea/coffee for all runners and helpers during the event.
Race HQ will open at 07:00am each day and close at around 20:00pm.

Please enter me for the above event. I accept that the organiser will not be liable for any loss, damage, action, claim, cost or expenses which may arise in the consequence of my participation in or attendance to this event. I declare that I will not attend unless I am in good health on the day of the event and accept that I attend at my own risk. In the unlikely event of abandonment or cancellation, all or part of my entry fee may be retained for the management and administration of the event. No refunds or transfers allowed under any circumstances.
