England's Oldest Road Race.
*Subject to final approval*
Measured 10K race on an undulating course through Saltwell park and on the surrounding closed roads.
Race memento to all finishers.
Course records: Male: Callum Johnson 30.09 (2021) Female: Rosie Smith 35.05 (2014)
Race numbers must be collected on the day.
All athletes must be at least 18 years old on the day of the race.
Prize giving will take place immediately after the race.
Limited car parking is available at Saltwell Park and Gateshead Leisure Centre.
There are public car parks within walking distance of the park on Lowrey's Lane and Cross Keys Lane.
Toilets - there are several toilets in Saltwell park.
