Holcombe Two Towers Fell Race
A steep route across and around Holcombe Moor with a bit of everything and numerous punishing climbs.

From: Hare & Hounds Pub, 400 Bolton Road West, Bury BL0 9RY
Distance: 6.5km / 4 miles
Climb: 400m / 1,312ft
Start Time: 19:00
Minimum Age: 16 with parental consent
Entry on the Day Available
The race starts 500m from the Hare and Hounds. Follow Holcombe Old Road, then carry on through Redisher Woods, staying on the main track. The start line is a short distance after a steep descent on the main track.
The route is well flagged, but competitors are responsible for following the route and for their own safety. Bring full FRA kit to registration. A decision will be made on the evening as to what, if anything, must be carried.
Please car share where possible.
There will be fading daylight towards the end of the race as you finish through Redisher Woods. Slower runners should bring a headtorch if they think they may need one.
There will be a cut-off time of 1 hour and 15 minutes when runners meet Moorbottom Road for the second time. Runners arriving after the cut-off will still be given a finish time after the final runner who reached the cut-off within the permitted time.
