Q. Who are we and what charities do we support

A. We are delighted to announce The 2017 North Stainley, Lightwater Valley 10K & 3K running challenge, will be raising funds for both Friends of North Stainley School (FONSS) and The Yorkshire Air Ambulance.

The North Stainley village school is a small Victorian very successful school, full to capacity with over 60 pupils, looking to improve its facilities. The Lightwater Valley Run Charity Challenge has a target in excess of £5k to raise.

Another cause very dear to our community is the Yorkshire Air Ambulance, who provide state of the art emergency care. Their swift medical interventions provided by The Yorkshire Air Ambulance have a major impact on a patient’s survival and subsequent quality of life. In these dark winter months and inclement weather they play a vital role in Yorkshire. Its costs up to £12000 a day to run this service with are funded purely by charity.

Q. I've heard about a 'Treetops' promotion. What is this?

A. We've got together with 'Treetops'. Try to imagine over 2000m2 of giant trampolines, walkways, slides and tunnels all made out of netting. Now picture this safely suspended between trees up to 12m off the ground and set in mature native woodland and you'll have the right idea.
