Q. Do I have to complete the 30 miles in one go?
A. No, you don't have to. So long as you cover 30 miles in September, it doesn't matter how long or short it takes, whether you cycle 30 miles in one trip, or walk 1 mile a day over 30 days. It's entirely up to you how you cover the mileage. Plus, feel free to mix up the activities by running, walking, cycling and swimming.
Q. I don't have an activity tracking app on my phone, how can I submit my evidence?
A. If you can download an activity tracking app, then that will be so much easier to claim your evidence. However, if you can't do that, but you do have a watch that can track your steps then feel free to take a picture of your steps or log your steps in a document that can be submitted when you've completed the 30 miles. We've attached a sample document that you are more than welcome to use!
Q. Do I have to have done something like this before?
A. Definitely not! In fact, wouldn't it be amazing to think this could be the start of something you may like and want to continue? You don't need any previous experience of running, jogging, cycling, etc. However, please do exercise safely and if you aren't feeling 100% then please don't push yourself too hard. We want you to enjoy the challenge and enjoy your reward at the end. So stay calm, stay relaxed and always take care of yourself.
Q. I can track my steps but I can't track mileage, how do I convert steps to miles?
A. For the purpose of this challenge it has been decided that 2000 steps will equal 1 mile.
Q. If I am unable to complete the challenge, can I get a refund?
A. Unfortunately, no. Once entered you money will go to CHBN Community Radio CIC as a charitable donation and therefore refunds cannot be given. Stay tuned to the Stevie B Show CHBN Radio on Facebook and Instagram for plenty of help and positivity to get you through the challenge.
Q. How can I contact the event organiser?
A. The event organisers contact details are displayed at the top of the event listing page.
