FAQ The 2024 Market Drayton 10k Road Race – Event ID# 8695

Q. Can I wear headphones / earphones / listen to my MP3 Player / music device etc?

A. Shokz bone-conduction headphones are the only headphones allowed by England Athletics and approved for use in all road races under the UK Athletics Rules of Competition.

Q. My details have changed. How can I update them? NO LONGER AVAILABLE

A. Before 16th April 2024 you will be able to log in to BookitZone and click 'View/Amend' from your 'Dashboard' page to update your details for things like change of club, moved house, married/divorced etc. PLEASE DO NOT USE THIS SYSTEM FOR TRANSFERS FROM ONE PERSON TO ANOTHER! See below for transfers policy. Details for changes after this date will follow nearer the event date.

Q. I wish to receive a refund for my place. Do you allow these?

A. THIS EVENT HAS A NO REFUNDS POLICY

Unfortunately, it costs a lot to stage events like this and we have had to pay bills which we can no longer cancel or recover, therefore we cannot offer refunds.

Q. I can no longer run, how do transfer my number to a friend/colleague?

A. IF YOUR ENTRY WAS FOR YOUR NUMBER TO BE POSTED IN ADVANCE:
The cutoff date for advance transfers processed by BookitZone has passed as numbers are being posted.
After the last batch of numbers have been posted (approx 3rd May 2024) a link will be provided on the ukresults.net website which should be used to provide details of the transfer. The physical race number will need to be passed to the replacement runner.

IF YOUR ENTRY WAS FOR NUMBER COLLECTION ON THE DAY:

You can still transfer your place to a friend/colleague/fellow runner via BookitZone. To do so, please send an email to info@bookitzone.com and clearly state 'MARKET DRAYTON 10k TRANSFER'

There will be a cutoff date announced for pre-event transfers after which transfers will only be allowed on the day. Cutoff date to follow when known.

Q. Will I receive my number in the post?

A. Only if you paid extra for the 'number posted in advance' option! Numbers will only be posted out approx 3 weeks before the race.

Otherwise all numbers are to be COLLECTED on the day from race HQ. Please arrive early and allow plenty of time to collect your number and warm up prior to the race start.

Q. I cant now make the race date, can I defer to next year?

A. No, I'm sorry this event has a strict no refunds/deferrals policy which you are asked to agree to when making your entry. You can however transfer your place to another person (see transfers section above).
