Bollington 10k
Sunday 4th August 2019 | 10am start
On August 4th 2019, on behalf of Bollington Health and Leisure there will be a 10km run taking place from the leisure centre for the 6th year in succession.
Bollington Health and Leisure is a non for profit organisation and has been serving the community since 1977 It provides a gym for over 1000 members, exercise and leisure facilities for hundreds more and renowned swimming classes to thousands of children every week.
We are only able to offer these services because of the determined fundraising of local people in the 1970’s and 80’s that made it possible for the Centre to be built and stay open through hard times, but the last 40 years has taken its toll on the facilities.
We are dedicated to providing you with the very best in leisure facilities for years to come, but as the Leisure Centre is a registered charity we can’t do this on our own. All the money we make is reinvested in the day to day running of the Centre, leaving very little in the pot for these projects.
We have no doubt that the same community spirit that started our story 40 years ago still prevails today, so over the coming months we will be running a series of fun events, activities and initiatives to raise the funds we need to bring the Centre up to date, starting with the changing rooms.
If for any reasons we are unable to raise the amount needed for large projects or there are surplus funds left over, we will use the donations to address other much needed developments within the Centre.

I declare that I will not attend unless I am in good health on the day of the event and accept that I attend at my own risk. In the unlikely event of abandonment or cancellation, all or part of my entry fee may be retained for the management and administration of the event. No refunds or transfers allowed under any circumstances.
