The Run Bramham Committee established this event in 2016 and year on year it has gone from strength to strength. Many local volunteers will come together again to host this popular event in 2023 (in their village of Bramham) on Sunday the 9th of July starting at 10.00am.
We were delighted that our previous events have become more popular year on year, so we recommend early entry to secure your place on the start line and obtain the reduced online booking prices too.
CHOSEN CHARITY - Run Bramham is now into its 7th year,. In 2021 and 2022 we donated all profits to Martin House Children's hospice.
We are supporting Martin House again in 2023, and hope to raise further monies to support this local childrens hospice and family respite centre located in the next village.
ROUTES - Both distances will follow lovely scenic courses, multi terrain, through paths and trails in Bramham and open to racers, runners, joggers and walkers. The 10k is open to over 15's and the 6k is open to aged 13+.
Most of the route is off road on tracks and bridleways in pleasant countryside and on race day will be lined with village supporters, water sprinklers and lots of cheers. The 10K is an undulating course and the last section brings you to the top of Windmill Hill before descending through the lovely village of Bramham then up Almshouse Hill, fondly known as the Bramham Beast (short but steep) to the playing field on Freely Lane. This year we are extending the 5k to a 6k route so that it can finish on the field with the 10k runners and in sight of supporters and close to refreshments! it is still a gentle route, the same as the 10k but splits at approximately 3.5k onto Headley Lane, then back down Freely Lane and a lap round the playing field to finish..
