Event Description
The inaugural ladies only Prestwich Plodders' Summer of Love Shuffle is a 5k charity run through the delights of Drinkwater and Philip's Park. Details as follows:
- 70's themed activewear is highly encouraged for this fun event - so get your thinking caps on (no platform boots though)
- The event is fully marshalled
- There will be medals for every runner
- The Sizzle Sisters will offer breakfast and refreshments
- There will be a pre-run warm up
- Post-run sports massages available for a charitable fee
- Raffle tickets on sale
- Toilets, a water station, St John's Ambulance and photographer on site
We are raising money for small, local charities (details TBA post-run). Every participant will also be asked to bring along just one item of hygiene product - be it sanitary wear, toothpaste, toothbrushes, soap, shower gel etc so we can put together health care packages for the Red Box Project and local ladies' refuges.
Let's make this a fun Summer celebration ladies.
