Q. Can I wear headphones?

A. All headphones including bone conductors and NOT PERMITTED. The Thirsk 10 is run on roads with live traffic in some place and therefore we do not permit runners to wear any type of headphones. Failure to observe this rule will result in disqualification. We are aware of the UKA guidance on bone conductors but this is guidance only and our race does not permit their use. Please respect this rule - it is for the safety of all runners.

Q. Can I defer my place or get a refund?

A. We do not offer deferrals or refunds but you can transfer your place to another runner. Please contact the race secretary (elizabeth_ashton@Hotmail.com) if you wish to transfer your place.

Q. Can I run with a buggy?

A. We do not allow buggy/pushchairs at the Thirsk 10.

Q. Can I run with a dog?

A. We do not allow dogs at the Thirsk 10.
