On 3rd March 2022, we celebrate forests and livelihoods, as we take a step back and think about the endangered species of wildlife around the world, We show appreciation to those organisations who fight tirelessly to keep our wildlife and forests alive.
This challenge would be perfect for anybody who is passionate about wildlife and forests, and a great opportunity to raise money to help a charity involved in this cause.
Run, walk or jog 5k, anytime on World Wildlife Day (3rd March 2022).
We also accept evidence from treadmill activities.
Once you have completed your challenge, simply go to the running bug website and upload a screenshot of your activity on our secure submission form here. Once your evidence has been sent, you should be redirected to a confirmation page. Then that's it! Your medal should arrive within 10 working days.
We do accept entries from overseas participants. However, please note that is an extra charge to cover postage costs. There may also be extra import duty charges and customs taxes depending on your country. You are liable to pay such charges. The Running Bug is unable to advise on these charges as they differ from country to country. We recommend you contact your local tax office.
In the event that a resident with a non-UK address purchases a standard UK entry, then we reserve the right to refuse the entry and refund in full.

I declare that I will not take part unless I am in good health and accept that I do so at my own risk. Once my entry is accepted, I understand that my entry fee is NOT REFUNDABLE under any circumstances - even if I do not or cannot complete the challenge. Throughout the challenge I will observe the current government guidelines in force with regards to social distancing and time restrictions on exercising outside of the home. Please note there are additional charges for entries from outside the UK. The Event Organiser will email further information prior to the event. Please check your junk/spam email folders if you don't receive it and note that the Organiser may only send information once entries close (ie. a couple of days prior to the event itself). If in any doubt, please contact the Event Organiser using the details displayed on the event entry page.
