I RAN FOR UKRAINE VIRTUAL CHALLENGE
Date of Challenge: From 1st to 13th March 2022
We all know about the war in Ukraine by now. As the invasion intensifies, we want to play our part and give everybody a chance to come together in supporting Ukraine. So between the 1st and 13th of March 2022 we're giving you the oppoortunity to run, walk or jog as far as you want to. All money from the sales of entry fees will be donated to help support Ukraine's refugees. Let's do something positive. Let's stand strong together and be united in the face of war.
WHAT’S INVOLVED?
Run, walk or jog any distance, anywhere any time between the 1st and the 13th of March 2022.
Distances accepted: 1k, 5k, 10k, 10 miles, half marathon, full marathon, ultra. We also accept treadmill activities.
WHAT’S INCLUDED?
Receive a beautiful white aluminium finishers medal with a plain coloured ribbon.
WHAT HAPPENS AFTER THE CHALLENGE?
Once you have completed your challenge, simply go to the website using the link below and upload a screenshot of your activity on our secure submission form https://the-running-bug.com/submit-your-evidence/
Once your evidence has been sent, you should be redirected to a confirmation page. Then that's it! Medals will be sent out at the end of March.
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
We do accept entries from overseas participants. However, please note that is an extra charge to cover postage costs. There may also be extra import duty charges and customs taxes depending on your country. You are liable to pay such charges. The Running Bug is unable to advise on these charges as they differ from country to country. We recommend you contact your local tax office.
Event Terms
Please enter me for this virtual challenge. I accept that the organiser will not be liable for any loss, damage, action, claim, cost or expenses which may arise in the consequence of my participation. I declare that I will not take part unless I am in good health and accept that I do so at my own risk. Once my entry is accepted, I understand that my entry fee is NOT REFUNDABLE under any circumstances - even if I do not or cannot complete the challenge. Throughout the challenge I will observe the current government guidelines in force with regards to social distancing and time restrictions on exercising outside of the home. Please note there are additional charges for entries from outside the UK.
