GREAT BRITISH GALLOP VIRTUAL CHALLENGE
Date of Challenge: 2nd to 5th June 2022
To mark the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee, the late Bank Holiday will be moved to 2nd June, and we will be given an extra bank holiday on 3rd June. So we’re putting on a special Great British Gallop virtual challenge from the 2nd until the 5th of June 2022. Run, jog or walk anywhere, any distance, at any pace to celebrate the longest-reigning British monarch, Queen Elizabeth II.
WHAT’S INVOLVED?
Run, walk or jog any distance, anywhere, anytime between 2nd and 5th June 2022.
Distances accepted: 1k, 5k, 10k, 10 miles, half marathon, full marathon, ultra. We also accept treadmill activities.
WHAT’S INCLUDED?
- Receive a beautiful white aluminium finishers medal with a plain coloured ribbon
WHAT HAPPENS AFTER THE CHALLENGE?
Once you have completed your challenge, simply go to our website and upload a screenshot of your activity on our secure submission form https://the-running-bug.com/submit-your-evidence/
Once your evidence has been sent, you should be redirected to a confirmation page. Then that's it! Your medal should arrive within 10 working days.
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
We do accept entries from overseas participants. However, please note that is an extra charge to cover postage costs. There may also be extra import duty charges and customs taxes depending on your country. You are liable to pay such charges. The Running Bug is unable to advise on these charges as they differ from country to country. We recommend you contact your local tax office.
Event Terms
Please enter me for this virtual challenge. I accept that the organiser will not be liable for any loss, damage, action, claim, cost or expenses which may arise in the consequence of my participation. I declare that I will not take part unless I am in good health and accept that I do so at my own risk. Once my entry is accepted, I understand that my entry fee is NOT REFUNDABLE under any circumstances - even if I do not or cannot complete the challenge. Throughout the challenge I will observe the current government guidelines in force with regards to social distancing and time restrictions on exercising outside of the home. Please note there are additional charges for entries from outside the UK.
