Autism is a condition relating to brain development. It is a neurological development disability which has a profound impact on a person’s ability to communicate and social interaction. It’s estimated that 700,00 people in the UK have some type of Autism, that’s more than 1 in 100 people. Whilst there is no cure for Autism, there is information and support available to help people with Autism manage with this condition. What we can do is help support this by getting involved.
By signing up for the World Autism Virtual Challenge, you are helping with increasing awareness of Autism. Fundraising is an excellent way to raise money and support, so we are donating all profits from this virtual event to Beyond Autism.
Run, walk or jog any distance, anytime throughout April 2023. This is a fantastic opportunity to raise awareness of this condition and raise money for charity.
Distances accepted: 1k, 5k, 10k, 10 miles, half marathon, full marathon, ultra. We also accept treadmill activities.
