Ever since 1970, the 22nd of April has marked Earth Day. A chance to do something positive by supporting a charity or building awareness. There are different ways to support this campaign like clean up plastic around the neighbourhood, reduce, reuse and recycle, or even plant a tree. We can all make a difference to invest in our planet for many generations to come. So why not play your part by signing up for this wonderful virtual run? It’s a fantastic opportunity to raise money and support brilliant charities.
Compete this race as part of a charity event and help raise money as all profits will be donated to the Friends of the Earth charity.
Run, walk or jog any distance anytime between Saturday, 20th, Sunday, 21st and Earth Day (Monday 22nd April 2024). We accept treadmill activities.
Everybody who completes this challenge and submits their evidence will receive a beautiful eco friendly medal with a plain coloured ribbon. This medal is made from birch wood and is an ecological and renewable material that stores carbon through its life cycle.
Once you have completed your challenge, simply go to our website and upload a screenshot of your activity on our secure submission form here. Once your evidence has been sent, you should be redirected to a confirmation page. Then that's it!
We do accept entries from overseas participants. However, please note that is an extra charge to cover postage costs. In the event that a resident with a non-UK address purchases a standard UK entry, then we reserve the right to refuse the entry and refund in full.
Please enter me for this virtual challenge. I accept that the organiser will not be liable for any loss, damage, action, claim, cost or expenses which may arise in the consequence of my participation. Once my entry is accepted, I understand that my entry fee is NOT REFUNDABLE under any circumstances - even if I do not or cannot complete the challenge.
