The course starts in Bampton Village and follows an out and back course along the shores of Haweswater in a remote and dramatic mountain valley.
This is a perfect race for all those training for full marathons like London, Manchester and Edinburgh.
All finishers will get a unique mug with piping hot tea and a piece of delicious flapjack supplied by Traybakes Ltd of Penrith.
Prizes will be awarded for 1st, 2nd & 3rd male & female and 1st male & female U23, V40, V50, V60 and V70. There will also be team prizes for the 1st male and 1st female team (comprising 3 runners).
Please enter me for the above event. I accept that the organiser will not be liable for any loss, damage, action, claim, cost or expenses which may arise in the consequence of my participation in or attendance to this event. I declare that I will not attend unless I am in good health on the day of the event and accept that I attend at my own risk. In the unlikely event of abandonment or cancellation, all or part of my entry fee may be retained for the management and administration of the event. No refunds allowed under any circumstances.
By entering the race, you shall be deemed to have made yourself familiar with and agree to be bound by the UKA Anti-Doping Rules and to submit to the authority of UK Anti-Doping in the application and enforcement of the Anti-Doping Rules. The UKA Anti-Doping Rules apply to entrants participating in the sport of Athletics, for the 12 months from the date of entry, whether or not the licence holder is a citizen of, or resident in the UK.
You should collect your race pack/number/item at the venue on the day of the event. Please arrive in good time.
