The Dalby Dash 10k 2023
Remembrance Sunday 12th November at 11.02am
In remembrance of our service men & women in the 1st & 2nd World Wars and subsequent wars & conflicts. A beautiful run on Tarmac & hard trails, in association with Pickering Running Club

In aid of Royal British Legion (Reg. No. 219279) & Pickering Rotary Club (Reg. No. 1026500)
What a wonderful day we had at the 2022 Dalby Dash, again we put the safety of runners and volunteers as our number one priority and again all prizes were posted. YOU managed to raise £2000 for Help for Heroes, £2000 for Pickering Rotary and £1000 for Scarborough Rescue.!!! The atmosphere was amazing and everyone was so positive (which is amazing considering what we've all been through & how tough things are for everyone). Our team of volunteers (including family, friends and marshals coordinated by Sharon Lynn) did us proud. Pickering Rotary were out in force and Scarborough Rescue (SRMRT) kept everyone safe. This is a friendly trail run with a fantastic memento to all finishers, run by volunteers. Trail Running Magazine listed the Dalby Dash as one of the most beautiful races in Britain - who are we to argue?
The 2023 Dalby Dash represents great value and you'll now have your time recorded electronically !!! ALL your entry fee goes to organising the race and raising money for our charities - the Royal British Legion, Pickering Rotarians (who donate their share to North Yorkshire charities) & SRMRT. The entry is £17 for EA Club members and £19 for non-Club runners (plus booking fees). We pay the entry toll into the forest for your car (unfortunately this cost to us will rise considerably in 2023). Please bring family at no extra cost and spend the day in the forest!, PLUS you receive a great memento at the end!!!
The race starts outside the beautiful Visitor's Centre and you run up a firm Tarmac road (Housedale) to the top of the only hill in the race (a steady slope!) - First man and woman to the top gets a special prize. Then along the top of the rigg on gravel trails and a long and speedy decent down to the beck. Then a 'DASH' to the finish line back at Low Dalby.
NOTE : All transfers are processed through bookitzone, not the organisers. There are absolutely no deferrals and no transfers will be accepted after 30th October

First 5 men, First 5 women, First 2 Vets (in age catagories up to 70+ years) both sexes
Plus First Local man & woman (YO18 code), Plus ‘King (& Queen) of the Hill’ prize to first up House Dale
Prizes will be posted once again, to ensure your safety & the safety of the volunteers

Please enter me for the above event. I declare that I will not attend unless I am in good health on the day of the event and accept that I attend at my own risk. In the unlikely event of abandonment or cancellation, all or part of my entry fee may be retained for the management and administration of the event. No refunds or transfers allowed under any circumstances.
