Event Description
Easingwold Lions are delighted to revive the Galtres Runs!
As some of you may know, the Galtres Fun Run was a popular local community event, but unfortunately stopped being run in 2014. The event is being resurrected and will run again this year on 1st June at 1pm in Millfield Park. There will be a 5k mulit terrain run, a 2k fun run and the advance entry fee is £5. Entry is £6 on the day
We also have a 1k walk for anyone with a mobility aid or pushchairs. Entry for this is free.
All monies raised will go to Easingwold Community Library, Easingwold Park Run and Easingwold District Lions.
In the Market Place in the afternoon there will be the Lion’s Summer Fayre with various entertainment and the Easingwold Lion’s Brass Band Contest for the rest of the evening.
Runs start at Millfields from 1pm. There are medals for all finishers which will be presented in Easingwold Market Place at the Lions Summer Fayre.
Race Numbers can be collected at Millfields on the day - Please arrive before 12.30pm

I declare that I will not attend unless I am in good health on the day of the event and accept that I attend at my own risk. In the unlikely event of abandonment or cancellation, all or part of my entry fee may be retained for the management and administration of the event. No refunds or transfers allowed under any circumstances.
